Halo was originally made for Leona Lewis, but failed to record the song. Lewis didn't have the ample time to record the song in the time that the producers wanted it released.

Halo, a song that contains mainstream pop sound with the r&b touch from Beyonce's vocal magic, producers of this song made it simple making it glorious with the emotional lyrical content that can be give anybody goosebumps.

'Hannah Montana' Boosts Six Songs On Hot 100

he Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" still reigns atop the Billboard Hot 100, but a big opening weekend for "Hannah Montana: The Movie" boosts or debuts six of the soundtrack's songs on the Hot 100.

Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," which moves up two spots to No. 8, also scores the week's greatest digital gain, with downloads up 37% this week. "Hoedown Throwdown," also from the movie, leaps to No. 28 (with a 119% download gain) and Taylor Swift's "Crazier" climbs to No. 38 (with downloads up 87%).

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Hannah Montana's "Let's Get Crazy" is at No. 75, Miley Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus' "Butterfly Fly Away" debuts at No. 72, and Hannah Montana's "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home" moves up to No. 88.

Rascal Flatts Scores Fourth Billboard 200 No. 1

Rascal Flatts logs its fourth No. 1 on The Billboard 200, the most of any group this decade, as the trio's sixth set of new songs, "Unstoppable," (Lyric Street) bows with 351,000 copies. That's the band's third fattest opening week and their biggest one-week sum since "Still Feels Good" scanned 547,000 units on opening week for the chart dated Oct. 13, 2007. The trio's biggest Nielsen SoundScan week happened when "Me and My Gang" blew in with 722,000 copies in the Apr. 22, 2006, Billboard. With its fourth chart-topper, the group moves out of a tie with Dave Matthews Band, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Staind and System of a Down, all of whom have three No. 1s this decade. Kelly Clarkson No. 1 Again

Kelly Clarkson's "All I Ever Wanted" soared to no. 1 after selling 255,00 copies. This is her second album out of four albums to occupy the no. 1 spot after "Thankful". Thanks to her live T.V. appearance on its release week, appearing live on ABC's "Good Morning America," "Live With Regis and Kelly," Fox's "American Idol" and NBC's "Saturday Night Live." No doubt that Television played a huge factor in pumping up the big week for "All I Ever Wanted."

Closing of U.S. Virgin Megastores by June 2009

The biggest music retailer from U.K. will be closing their U.S. Virgin Megastores by mid of June this year (2009). Chain-store exclusive releases and digital cannibalization were to blame for the closing down of their U.S. Retails. There were 23 U.S. Virgin Megastores but, not all of them are profitable, according to estimates there were only 12 that are profitable, the biggest of them is located at Times Square, New York.

Duffy won three Brit Awards last night. British Breakthrough Act, British Best Album, and British Best Female. Duffy was tearful while accepting the British Best Album for her album Mercy, later on she performed Warwick Avenue.

Blige, Seal and Faith Hill premiered a new patriotic song, "America's Song," yesterday (Jan. 18) during a special edition of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" from Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center. The episode aired today; "America's Song," which was written by will.i.am and David Foster, will be available for free download for 24 hours on Oprah.com.

Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" featuring Colby O'Donis (Interscope) started a second week as the U.K.'s No. 1 single yesterday (Jan. 18), while its parent album, "The Fame," debuted at No. 3 on the U.K. album chart. Irish pop-rock band the Script returned to the albums summit with its self-titled debut for Phonogenic/Sony BMG. The set has so far yielded three U.K. top 40 hits in "We Cry," "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" and "Break Even." The debut was released last August and spent its first two weeks at No. 1, and returns there in its 23rd chart week.
