'Madea' left 'Jonas' Beaten Up

While overall business wasn't a record breaker for the end of February or early March, coming in at a solid $111 million plus, the weekend boasted a 14 percent bump over last year. After a 60% ox office revenue drop, Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail remains still on the no. 1 spot, gaining $16.5 million on its second week, leaving Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience on the 2nd spot with $12.7 million on its first week, compared to Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour last year, 'Jonas' lags on the second spot, with all the hype, exposures, and commercials that the 'Jonas' gained from last week promoting their movie.
