The Dark Knight

The heroes of Gotham City are back: Lieutenant James Gordon (Gary Oldman), Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (Rachel Dawes). This is the 2nd installment of the Batman series that again featured a darker, Gothic side.

This chapter introduced the character of Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). Dent is Gotham City's new District Attorney, a position that allows him to really help Batman/Bruce Wayne in fighting injustice in Gotham. A good man who prosecutes mobs, gangs, robbers, and mafias lurking inside Gotham, Dent was later branded as The White Knight of Gotham City.
The character of Joker (RIP Heath Ledger) was actually fantastic. His main role was to corrupt the incorruptibles, a feat he tried to do on Batman and Harvey Dent. (The latter succumbs to Joker's invitation.) Heath Ledger's portrayal of Joker deserves a round of applause because of the fear you'll feel whenever he's speaking and the laugh he'll bring whenever he intentionally/unintentionally cracks a joke (aww may you rest in peace Mr. Heath Ledger). He'll give you a disturbing feeling, trust me.
Should I disclose any spoilers? err alright, Rachel will surely die in this chapter, hahaha

What I love about this movie is the twisted/unpredictable/surprising twist of events, the scene where Joker was arrested and how he plotted and turned the plan of Batman, Lieutenant James Gordon, and Harvey Dent against them. His plan was to be captured so that he can somehow observe Batman and Harvey Dent, then try to lure them to kill and turn themselves to injustice, to be criminals. 'Nuff said, I might spill the whole movie if i continue...

anyways, it was a great movie, great plot, great cast, and all the greatness... by the way, watch out for these lines: "You complete me", "He's not a hero, he's not a villain, he's a protector (please, correct me if I heard and wrote it wrong)", "You've changed things... forever. There's no going back. See, to them, you're just a freak... like me!"

Enough! Enjoy the Movie!
